Well, here we are on the eve of Christmas eve, and things seem to be going pretty good. It’s a Monday, so we’re going to do some more Anthony Robbins tapes, and hopefully get some writing done today. At the very least read some of the “Selling Writer” book, which should hopefully get your head into the right space for some writing. We also have a squash game today with Mark, which should be interesting, as it’s the first challenge match I’ve been able to play since the ankle incident, and it’s the first challenge match I’ve played since my fitness has finally started to come into focus. Meaning, it’s 29 days now, since I’ve eaten any junk food … no refined sugars, no process foods what so ever, and I’m starting to feel pretty good. My energy level is up, my weight training program is going well, and I’m mentally ready to go to the next level. Should be a good match. So far, as of today Christmas hasn’t derailed my plans to kick it’s ass from a nutrition standpoint at least, and I’m ever so confident that I can continue to do so. What would be a great Christmas present to myself today, would be to write 3000+ words on the novel. And then to do it again tomorrow. Although, it may be a bit busy, as tomorrow, we’re going to Dianes for Christmas eve dinner, and I want to get a weights workout in as well. I’m sure, if I make sure to get to be early, that would be fine. We’ll see how that goes. I actually feel like I’m starting to run out of things to write down here. Not sure if that’s a good thing or not. This has always felt like a bit of therapy for me, and maybe it’s good that I’m getting some of the crappy things out and into these notes so I don’t have them bothering me anymore. I’m also listening to some of Tony’s subliminal music this morning, as I’m writing this stuff. I’m not sure if it really does anything, or at least I’m not convinced that they really work, but it’s kind of nice music to be writing these journals to, and I do feel in a pretty good mood while I’m doing it, so who knows. I think I should try listening to them when I’m in a bit of a grumpy mood, that would be a good test to see what kind of effect they have. At the very least, they’re nice to listen to while I’m working. I wouldn’t mind just having them play in the background while I do my regular work. I could probably even have them playing while I’m doing novel writing . . . that would be interesting. I wonder if they have subliminal tapes that are geared towards authors. Something to make you feel more creative as you do some writing. That would be kind of cool. Something that stirs your creative desires to write write write, and then write some more. That would be worth gold if they were really out there. I’ll have to google around for some of those. I seem to have a bit of a kink on the right side of my head. I fell asleep last night on the futon watching TV with Sam, and I think I may have done something. It was annoying me most of last night even when I dragged myself off to my regular bed. Ah well, hopefully it will go away. I think, that today, I’m actually done all of y Christmas shopping as well, which has to be a bit of a record for me. As I’m not usually not this early. There are actually 2 more shopping days till Christmas, and I’ve got everything done. I should do a bit of wrapping today though, but that shouldn’t take to long. I figure, another 30 days of healthy eating like I’ve already done, and I should be kicking all sorts of ass out on the squash court. And that gives me plenty of time to tear through the rest of the squash season. Especially, since today is the 23, and we don’t get started with the second season until the 9th of January. Which, is still 2.5 weeks away. Maybe, I could even be down to 170 lbs by then. That would be pretty awesome. That’s the weight I was at when I finished P90X, and my squash game was at it’s peak. If I could get to 170 by then, then I could probably hit 165 by mid February, and my final goal of 160 lbs by the end of March, just in time for league playoffs. That would be really interesting . . . really awesome actually!
